Evento Blog Espana

This 17, 18 and 19 November took place this event that I think is something that should be available worldwide, I have no idea whether here in my country (Mexico) has done something similar, but I'd love to see happen (if anyone knows of such events please let me know).

This event struck me since I found out thanks to Luis Perez, aka cinephile, who told me that in that event would Matt Mullenweg, creator of WordPress. Immediately I became interested in the event, to learn more about this young man that we owe a lot to communicate via the Internet in a simple (thanks Matt), the fact is that thanks to that fixed my attention on the event and I I have had a very good impression.

In the most remarkable among other things that go along is more telling, this declaration of independence.

Declaration of Independence of the blogosphere: citizens by hackers

Internet is an opportunity. Blogs are, within the network, another chance to regain the power that you provide the synergy between individual identity and collaboration of many. But to achieve needed hackers citizens actively construct an ethic of its action on the net and in the real world. Is there any chance to do it?, It all depends on how you build the future. Let's get started:

• Break the closed source of elitism, fundamentalism of all kinds. Open the code conversation and intellectual mainstreaming.

• The inquisitorial breaks uncritically accepted ideas, ask the available data, recombines information to observe reality from other perspectives.

• The Internet offers a virtual space of freedom, independent of the authorities of the physical world. But this independence will always be temporary, at any time is subject to completion or to reinvent itself, therefore, takes this independence transient intensely.

• Write about what you want, on your life or the world. Everything is useful, there is nothing to prevent the network, only one who is interested (if there are such characters hypothetical) will read.

• Learn "languages", discover people and ideas away from your cultural and geographical environment. Build your explorations with new maps and share them with your neighbors.

• Move your ethics and your intellectual approach to network your life "physics". Become a hacker citizen. But, take precautions, in the "real" world, there are more and more powerful forces that can prevent your action.

• Ampárate anonymous if you think necessary to avoid legal or social censure. Maintain and promote your virtual identity, but has no visible correspondence with your identity "real." Be guided by your honesty, ethics prepares your own performance.

• Collaborates with the networks. But do not let you become a generic and expendable. Your strength, and everyone, is to unite the power of many to the value of the individual. Relate closely with the rest and the network, but freely.

• Link, link, links.

• Do not show advertising on your blog or ads on your blog and earn money if you can. Both options are valid if done with honesty and transparency. What matters is not what you do, care as you do.

Above all, do not do too much attention to everything said in this post. Abandoning my blog and the blogosphere for a few days (to the beaches of Second Life does not get the waves).
